Topsoil is the basis of every successful garden and all soft landscaping projects. Selection of topsoil is, therefore, very important and J & B Farnaby “Premium Topsoil” is the perfect blended soil for your new lawn and numerous other areas of your garden.
COMPOSITION
Blend; Pure soil from Lincolnshire is blended with green soil which
is locally sourced in Richmondshire. It is free of PTE’s (potentially
toxic elements) and peat-free.
Texture: Very light, fine and pliable but with added ‘body’ from the green
compost.
Certification: Complies with the newly revised British Standard BS3882. Analysis: pH 6.5 Full analysis available on request.
APPLICATIONS
Pre-turfing/Pre-seeding: For the best results to provide the perfect base for your new lawn:
1. Level area to suit.
2. Rotovate or fork over to loosen any panning.
3. Apply 25-100mm of the Premium Soil and rake level
4. Firm down and rake to final finish.
Borders , Tubs, Pots, Raised beds, Individual Trees or Shrubs: Premium Soil is ideal for planting straight into or it can be used as a planting compost and mixed with your existing soil.
Conditioner: Premium Soil can be used to improve heavy, clay based soil or indeed any soil of a poor quality. Simply fork or rotovate into the
soil you wish to improve.
STORAGE Our premium soil is stored undercover and is therefore dry, enabling us to supply it to you throughout the year.
DELIVERY Next day delivery is available for options 1. and 2.

1. Dumpy bag - approx. 1 tonne or 0.6 cubic metre.
These are delivered with a forklift and can be positioned to
enable ease of movement of soil from bag to garden with little
mess. The bags are non-returnable.

Please note, care must be taken not to spill Premium Soil onto
ornamental paths or driveways as this may result in staining. Any small spillages should be hosed and brushed immediately. Similarly, it is advisable to wash your hands after handling the soil or wear protective gloves. |
